Connect a satellite or a kitchen screen

Before you start

• The main register is on with TPVStream open.
• The new device is on the same Wi-Fi as the main register.
• You have a free satellite seat on your licence.

Option 1: automatic search

1. Install TPVStream on the new device and open it.
2. Choose Satellite Station (Client) or Kitchen Display.
3. TPVStream searches the network for registers. Tap yours.
4. Optional: give it a name ("Terrace 1").
5. Tap Connect.

Option 2: QR code

1. On the main register, open Settings › Terminals and show the Local network QR code.
2. On the new device, at the satellite step, tap Scan and point at the QR code.

Option 3: IP address

If the search doesn't find the register, tap Manual connection and type the IP address and port shown on the main register (port 5487 by default).

Accept the device

New device appears on the main register:

1. Check that the verification code is the same on both screens.
2. Tap Accept.

The satellite syncs and can start selling.
