When to issue a simplified invoice (receipt) or a full invoice with the customer's details.

Receipt (simplified invoice)

By default, every paid sale produces a receipt (ticket), which in Spain is a simplified invoice. It shows your tax details, the VAT breakdown and, with VeriFactu, the verification QR code.

Full invoice

A business customer may ask you for an invoice with their details (name or company, tax ID and address).

  1. Before taking payment, open Options › Assign Customer.
  2. Pick an existing client or create one as Company or Individual, with their tax ID and address. See Clients.
  3. Take payment as usual and issue the invoice.

The invoice is numbered in its own series and can be printed on the receipt printer or as an A4 PDF.

Find an invoice

All invoices are in Settings › Invoicing: search them, reprint them or download them as PDF.

Reprint a receipt

Paid tickets are in Settings › Ticket History. See Ticket history.

A receipt or invoice that has been issued is never deleted. To fix a mistake, a corrective document is issued: see Cancel and refund.
